I started my trip in Berlin. Disclaimers:
- I'm really out of practice with my photography
- I'm not very good at using Photoshop either (but I learn fast)
- The sky was very grey in Berlin
- I got snow and rain on my lens, and tried to clean it with a tissue, for God's sake. What an idiot!

Desperately envious of your travels, and have ventured over to twitter to hear the latest on occasion.
As great as it is to travel solo, I do appreciate the comforts of a travel companion. After a while, you wish you could just nod off for a moment on the train without worrying, or go halves in some rich and decadent food you don't have the room to stomach all yourself. It can just get a little draining.
Congratulations on finishing. I'm so pleased you've had the chance to escape to another world for some time. I hope the move south goes well when you return and the transition back to work is a smooth one.

Great photos! I've never been to Berlin so it's fascinating to see it in candid photos. Well done on becoming a doctor too! :)
